About Us
We’re Jenna and Max Yenter, and Merryland Ballroom holds a very special place in our hearts. When we purchased the property, we knew immediately we wanted to preserve its name—one that carries so much history, character, and meaning in the community. After buying the venue, we became the very first couple to celebrate our own wedding here, which made the experience incredibly personal and unforgettable. Designing the space for our September 2025 wedding allowed us to shape Merryland Ballroom into exactly what we dreamed of for our big day. Max was born and raised in the Rosholt area, Jenna grew up in Stevens Point, and we met in high school. Today, along with our dog Remi, we’re honored to care for this historic space and welcome couples as they create their own lasting memories.
Merryland Ballroom has always been a place where people gather, celebrate, and connect. Our goal is to honor its past while thoughtfully restoring and enhancing the space for future generations.
